Relative Minors and Majors Explained in full.
Relative Minors are the 6th (VI) note of a major scale – so one way of using them is if you want a song to sad sadder, rather than play in C major, play in A minor!
Have fun with this.

Welcome to Get Piano Lesson 8 where we begin to ask our left hand questions it’s never had to answer before… how to play the DOMINANT role in a two-handed piano piece? As we all know, piano music is largely performed with a major emphasis on the notes played with the right hand. But there are times when our left hand needs to step up a little and support the right hand with a more prominent rhythm section… like NOW! So… right handed beginners… prepare to step out of your comfort zone for the next 10 to 20 minutes and lets get to work!! This full video is much too long to be shown here, but you can watch the entire lesson (for free as always) by simply going to: http://www.get-piano-lessons.com/how-to-learn-piano.html

Left hand warmed up? Good, this next piano exercise will put a little more pressure on your fingers and force them to play independently. Yes, this is still a beginner piano lesson. But what you’ll learn here are some of the raw essentials for developing a natural “feel” for piano playing. You can also catch this staccato lesson online at: http://www.get-piano-lessons.com/beginner-lesson-piano-left.html
